This Youtube Course. Particularly lesson 2, gives you a really basic run down on what it means to model the central dogma of biology. It then gets quite python specific. Python is a lot like Julia. But if you want to stick to learning Julia just stick to 1 and 2.
This tutorial is useful for running your first Julia models and plotting the results
This basically requires a maths degree or doing something equivalent. Below is the best video course on this, along with the best lecture notes on this. Both from MIT. They require some fairly comprehensive alegbra knowledge to understand. I put them below not because I think people in my lab need to learn this, but because you may wonder why we don't learn all of the mathematics. And the answer is because there simply isn't time to learn all of the below, while producing impactful science1
