Wellbeing and mental health resources

  • The Sussex Wellbeing hub provides tools and resources to look after mental, physical and financial wellbeing.

  • A list of local mental health services.

  • Sussex has a network of Mental Health First Aiders who are trained to listen non-judgementally, provide support and signpost to appropriate professional services. More information can be found here.

  • For those embarking on a PhD we recommend taking a look at "Managing Your Mental Health During Your PhD : A Survival Guide" available as an eBook from the library.

  • The Student Centre offers wellbeing support, including information about free counselling for students.

  • Useful posters as a resource for each career stage thanks to Dr Zoe J Ayres.
